We are seeking an experienced, organized, self-driven, innovative, influential Supply Chain Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in raw materials and outside processing in a manufacturing environment with a focus on sourcing, procurement, and project management. The Supply Chain Manager will have strategic and operational responsibilities, forging relationships with suppliers, overseeing supplier performance, optimizing raw materials inventory to meet cost, quality, and delivery requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with business objectives
  • Manage supplier relationships to a long-term roadmap and short-term execution to performance targets
  • Review or update supply chain practices in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations, or laws.
  • Create, analyze, and monitor data and market trends to surface risk and identify opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, comprehend, and execute timely delivery of materials requirements through just-in-time procurement, inventory and contract strategies
  • Appraise vendor manufacturability through routine audits and performance measurements
  • Negotiate comprehensive agreements and pricing terms with suppliers
  • Develop, maintain, and report supplier scorecards to track supplier performance
  • Manage supplier, supply, and inventory risks and issues
  • Frequently contrast demand requirements with supply to identify and proactively address any negative impacts.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Oversee timely delivery of projects from conception to completion through development of detailed project plans that account for scope, timelines, budget and other pertinent details
  • Effectively partner and escalate internally with Engineering, Operations, Logistics, Finance, and corp functions.
  • Effective upward and outward communication across all levels of an organization
  • Garner influence and build business acumen by driving continuous improvement and innovation

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Industrial or Materials Engineering with 10 years of sourcing in a manufacturing environment with direct experience in machining and raw materials
  • Masters of Business Administration with 5 years of manufacturing sourcing with direct experience in machining and raw material
  • CPIM or CSCP certified preferred
  • Experience in the Aerospace, Defense, or Semiconductor industries preferred
  • Expertise in sourcing raw materials, medals, machining, and third-party outsource services
  • Exhibits ability to learn and apply new skills
  • Assertive with an innate ability to innovate, influence, and drive difficult, high-level negotiations to a successful close
  • Demonstrated results in leading teams, ideas, and projects in an ambiguous and dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and planning skills to lead projects across a distributed organization
  • Entrepreneurial ownership approach, adapting to ambiguity and open to change by shifting priorities, wearing different hats, and enlisting help as needed to achieve the target state
  • Adaptable problem-solver who gathers and analyzes information skillfully to land win/win solutions
  • Detail-oriented, adept in advanced analytics and PowerBI to create and analyze data and plans
  • Self-starter and accountable to thrive independently and as part of a team in a remote work setting
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret research, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints articulately and effectively, listening, educating, and presenting information in a relatable fashion.
