Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide essential care and support to a person with developmental disabilities. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact in the Person's life.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support and assistance to person with developmental disabilities
- Assist with daily living activities, including but not limited to, personal care, meal preparation, etc.
- Support person in developing social skills and participating in community activities
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and person's progress
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans

Requirements:
- Previous experience working with persons with developmental disabilities.
- Knowledge of direct support techniques, home care practices.
- Ability to effectively communicate and build rapport with individuals with diverse needs
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to changing needs and handle challenging situations calmly and professionally

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Evening shift
• Morning shift
• Overnight shift

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Direct support: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• CPR and First Aid (Preferred)
• TME (Preferred)
• Driver's License (Preferred)
