Alfa Dental Management is Hiring a Dental Insurance Verification Representative Near Jacksonville, FL

We are a fast-paced, fee-for-service dental organization focused on comprehensive dental care. We are looking for the best and brightest who share in our passion for serving our patients and communities.

At a Glance:

On Site, Jacksonville, Florida 32216
Full Time
4 Day Work Week, Mon-Sun (4 hr shift on Sun)

Responsibilities:

Verify patients' insurance plan coverage with various carriers with an out of network status
Enter and update patient’s insurance benefits into the practice management software prior to patient appointment.
Assist in generating price quotes, as needed.
Manage your time to allow for same day and walk in verifications needed for the office level
Train other individuals, as needed
Adjust coverage tables according to explanation of benefits and allowable

Qualifications:

Must be a self-starter with the ability and drive to work independently.
Working knowledge of Open Dental software preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of experience verifying dental insurance with a working knowledge of insurance rules and regulations.
Good Communication skills with advanced computer skills.
Excellent customer service, compassionate, and excellent conflict resolution skills.
