Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help ensure a smooth patient experience.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures
- Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients
- Take xrays
- Maintain accurate patient records
Experience:
- Proficiency in aseptic technique
- Experience with four handed dentistry
- Knowledge of medical documentation standards
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations
- Experience in assisting with dental procedures and xrays
- Familiarity with dental terminology
- Ability to measure and record vital signs
- Familiarity with dental coding practices
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft software
This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, providing valuable support to both patients and dental professionals. Join our team and contribute to delivering high-quality dental care.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
