This position is a Maintenance Manager for a chemical manufacturing company in the Memphis metro area. The position reports in to the Plant Manager and also manages a small team as well. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of maintenance experience within a chemical manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

• Maintain well trained staff for support of trades required to maintain equipment such as electricians, pipefitters, instrumentation and general mechanical repair.
• Leads by example to safe and environmentally responsible execution of manufacturing operations by integrating S/H/E impacts into projects, repairs, plans, and work products.
• Leading incident investigations using root cause analysis.
• Participating in and implementing recommendations from PHA/LOPA.
• Leading pre-start-up safety reviews for newly modified processes and process modifications.
• Championing the safety vision, S/H/E initiatives, and programs.
• Works independent in these activities, mentors direct reports.

Qualifications

• BSc in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or closely related field
• 5-10 years maintenance experience within a chemical plant
• At least a few years of supervisory experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
