Alestone Brewing Co. is looking for a friendly, experienced Food Service Worker to prepare basic meals and serve them at our brewery. The ideal candidate will perform food preparation duties, such as prepping pizza/dough, a variety of pressed sandwiches, and other simple recipes ordered by our customers (at the taproom bar), swiftly and efficiently. You will assist in preparing hot items for brunch, lunch, and dinner, as orders come in. You will need to maintain knowledge of our products, as well as provide customers with correct information, when needed. To be successful in this role, you should perform optimally in a dynamic, (sometimes) high-pressure environment. Preferred candidates are fast-paced, organized, and dexterous, with a strong customer service background.
Food Service Worker Responsibilities:
· Performing preparation duties: such as hand pressed pizza dough, a variety of sandwiches, fresh herbs/cheese/meat/sauce and more, as our menu continues to grow.
· Weighing and measuring ingredients.
· Wrapping, date-labeling, and storing food items.
· Cleaning and organizing work areas, equipment, utensils, and service station.
· Following established recipes to prepare menu items.
· Following guidelines to ensure correct serving temperatures and adequate portion control.
· Serving customers in a fast, efficient, and friendly manner.
· Providing customers with information regarding food ingredients, availability, and custom order options.
· Escalating customer concerns and complaints to management.
· Complying with relevant safety, hygiene, and service standards and procedures.

Food Service Worker Requirements:
· Must be 18 yrs or older.
· High School Diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent, preferred.
· 6 months of food service experience, preferred.
· Completion of Food Service Licensure, strongly preferred.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Basic mathematical skills.
· Understanding of food allergies and modified diets.
· Understanding of HACCP requirements.
· Excellent people skills.
· Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and extended hours (as needed).
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour
