Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Armed Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their premises.
Responsibilities:
- Protect clients' property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons
- Patrol premises regularly to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Use weapons or physical force to protect persons or property when necessary
- Control traffic by directing drivers
- Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities
Skills:
- Possession of a valid armed security officer certificate
- Experience in law enforcement or military is preferred
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques
- Familiarity with CCTV systems for surveillance purposes
- Strong conflict management skills
- First aid and CPR certification is a plus
- Proficient in surveillance techniques
