Acara Solutions is seeking a Director of Finance for a leading health insurance company in Buffalo, NY.

Type: Direct Hire

Schedule: Hybrid, 2-days in office

Salary: the salary for this position is between $130,000-$150,000 with flexibility on experience

As the Director, you will oversee the production of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and work with the President to prepare the annual budget.

Responsibilities:

* Handles billing, collection and management of multiple revenue streams and ensures that all practices are within state and federal requirements.

* Lead a cross-functional team in the development of reimbursement methodologies and assessment of new opportunities to ensure that reimbursement is aligned with the strategic and operating objectives of the organization.

* Create pricing models and financial analysis for negotiating new business contracts.

* Manage and lead the negotiation, reimbursement development, analytics, and oversee the contracting of all pharmacies and pharmaceutical manufacturers.

• bachelor's degree in accounting or business in required
• Minimum of 7 years of multi-dimension financial experience is required
• Minimum of 3 years of combined management and progressive leadership experience is required
• Knowledge of GAAP accounting is required
• Strong mathematical/statistical skills are required
• Ability to successfully negotiate contracts with vendors and customers is required

• Must be able to understand and manage regulatory requirements and participate in external audits.
• Working knowledge of operations area, preferably in health care billing, collection, process design and management, fiscal responsibility, and customer relations.
• Excellent PC skills including the ability to navigate and efficiently operate multiple software platforms as well as various Microsoft Office applications (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

• MBA is preferred
• Experience with contractual agreements, negotiations and reimbursement methodologies is preferred
