Job Title: Administrative Operations and Accounting Analyst

Location: Dallas, Austin, Oklahoma City, or remote (willing to travel 10% of the time)

Job Description:

The Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the CFO and outsourced accounting function during roll-up/M&A activities, with responsibilities spanning process optimization, administrative operations management, basic accounting tasks, data integrity, and M&A integration support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process improvement, administrative operations, accounting fundamentals, M&A integration, and data management, with a demonstrated ability to drive results in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process Optimization:
• Lead process optimization initiatives across administrative functions, including finance, HR, procurement, and IT.
• Analyze existing processes, identify inefficiencies, and develop solutions to streamline operations and improve productivity.
• Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to drive consistency and efficiency.
• Basic Accounting Tasks:
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, expense reporting, and vendor payments.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities, such as reconciliations and journal entries.
• Maintain accurate financial records and assist with financial reporting as needed.
• Data Integrity and Reporting:
• Review and validate financial data inputs to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Verify the integrity of data sources and reconcile discrepancies as needed.
• Identify opportunities to enhance data integrity through system improvements and process optimization.
• Provide training and support to staff to facilitate adoption of new processes and systems.
• Foster a culture of data stewardship and accountability throughout the organization.
• Project Management:
• Lead cross-functional projects to improve administrative processes, accounting procedures, and systems.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and develop project plans to achieve desired outcomes.
• Coordinate project teams, manage timelines and budgets, and communicate project status updates to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field. CPA or CMA certification a plus.
• 3 years of experience in process optimization, administrative operations, or accounting roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results in a collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and experience with basic accounting tasks.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and best practices in administrative operations management.
