Operations Manager Internship

Regardless of your specific field of study, by joining our team as part of the Ops Manager Internship, you will be able to learn all functions of our business in the car wash, oil bay, and B-Quik stores. You will have the opportunity to work in these roles and learn how it impacts our success. Along with field training, you will also attend training classes to further develop your skills.

As a Manager Intern, once completing the first part of your training at the production level, you will be assigned one site to focus on. At this site, you will shadow a General Manager for hands-on training in daily operations. You will work in an outdoor environment and learn to interact with our customers and employees. You will be trained on every aspect of the business and play an active role in customer service, maintenance, and operations.

As you progress through your first year, you will gain greater access to the training and financial side of management. At this point, we encourage you to begin making decisions with your team for your site. As a Manager Intern, we will expect you to mentor, train, develop, and manage your staff as you make your way to the end of your training. Manager Interns will have opportunities for pay increases, promotions, and bonuses based on your performance. To become a successful manager, you should be willing to step outside your comfort zone and learn a new field.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor's Degree in a management and/or Business degree within 24 months of graduation date.

* Must be self-motivated and have the drive to achieve results.

* Integrity and honesty

* Ability to manage a diverse staff in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment.

* Effective communication and conflict management skills

* Excellent customer service skills

* Reliable, proactive, and a problem solver

* Must have a valid LA Driver's License & reliable transportation to multiple locations in the Baton Rouge area.
