Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Deli Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the daily operations of our deli department, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction. Duties: - Prepare and serve deli products such as meats, cheeses, sandwiches, and salads - Operate deli equipment including slicers, scales, and ovens - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area - Assist customers with product selection and provide exceptional customer service - Handle cash register transactions and operate POS systems - Follow food safety standards and guidelines for proper food handling - Monitor inventory levels and restock products as needed Skills: - Experience in a restaurant or food preparation setting is preferred - Knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen operations - Proficiency in operating cash registers and POS systems - Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products - Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management - Excellent customer service skills to interact with customers effectively - Understanding of food safety practices and regulations This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you can enhance your culinary skills while providing top-notch service to our customers.
