Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Deli Associate to join our team. As a Deli Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing delicious food items, and maintaining a clean and organized deli area. Duties: - Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner - Assist customers with their deli orders and provide recommendations - Prepare and assemble sandwiches, salads, and other deli items according to customer preferences - Ensure food quality and freshness by monitoring expiration dates and rotating stock - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the deli area, including food preparation surfaces, utensils, and equipment - Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure food safety - Operate deli equipment such as slicers, ovens, grills, and fryers - Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently - Assist with bussing tables and maintaining dining area cleanliness Experience: - Previous experience in a customer service or food service role is preferred but not required - Knowledge of kitchen operations and culinary techniques is a plus - Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment - Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth operations - Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and provide exceptional service Location: If you are passionate about food preparation, enjoy working in a restaurant setting, and have excellent customer service skills, we encourage you to apply for the position of Deli Associate.
