Warehouse Supervisor Job Summary:

The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee the activities and performance of Alaskan employees while on a assigned shift. These duties often include the management and disbursement of orders, assisting will call customers, employee performance monitoring, interfaces with sales personnel in and outside the company, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements for Warehouse Supervisor:

• Successful experience supervising an employee group of 7 or more.
• Must be able to work any shift.
• Computer literate to include competency in data entry and MS Word.
• Physically able to move around warehouse, climb stairs, lift and carry up to 70 pounds when required.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
• Forklift experience.

Responsibilities for Warehouse Supervisor:

• Disburse work orders to various Alaskan personnel daily.
• Responsible for accurate log-in of incoming work orders.
• Directs orders and determines form of shipment.
• Monitors the performance of Alaskan personnel, acts as mediator when disputes arise, assists in the training of new employees and do weekly performance evaluations.
• Interfaces with sales personnel in and outside the company.
• May assist will call customers as well as provide support in other areas as needed.
• Monitor the safe operation of tools and equipment and enforce safety procedures, company policy and union contract terms.
• Other duties as assigned.
