The Fixed Income Credit Analyst is primarily responsible for working with and leveraging the time of the Fixed Income Portfolio Managers. This newly created position will work with the portfolio managers to analyze the underlying credits in the Investment Grade and High Yield corporate bond portfolios. The Analyst will perform in-depth company and industry research to identify relative value and make recommendations for total return opportunities. The Analyst will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining our existing analytics system (BlackRock Aladdin). They will also be expected to provide analytical support to the investment process and perform ad-hoc investment analyses related to our investment goals and strategies.

The Fixed Income Team is growing. We recently brought all Fixed Income assets in-house. Our investment philosophy is to make targeted, high conviction macro bets when market dislocations occur while also taking advantage of daily technical factors that present relative value opportunities. We consistently prove that we can outperform our index over different market cycles with a disciplined process and proper risk controls.
Our team of seven world-class professionals is a tight-knit group that enjoys spending time together in and out of the office. We work East Coast market hours in Alaska, 5:00 am – 1:30 pm; this schedule allows us the time to spend our afternoons' skiing, hiking, kayaking, fishing, and anything Juneau offers.
