Job Description
The Outside Sales position will work with the San Antonio Division Sales Department and reports directly to the Sales Manager. This position will be in charge of generating new clients and servicing existing clients by providing excellent customer service. This position also requires regular visits to job sites and working with dispatch to service clients on time.
Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Acquire new ready mix accounts by establishing relationships with potential customers
- Service and support existing clients by building close, working relationships
- Address and resolve customer complaints/inquiries
- Attend assigned job sites and help coordinate with dispatch/drivers to ensure optimal delivery results
- Review assigned project documents and specifications; generate job take-off, followed by material quotation to bidding contractors
- Forecast backlogs for quarterly budgets
Requirements
- 3 years’ experience in the Ready Mix Sales field strongly preferred
- Experience with Command Alkon system preferred
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to work flexible hours; early mornings, late nights and weekends
- Must possess excellent communication skills: verbal and written
- Must have a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment Drug Screen, Physical and MVR
