About the Position: The volunteer experience manager oversees daily operations for a program that welcomes 15,000 volunteers annually. This position supervises a team of three people. Working across the food bank, the manager is responsible for ensuring all daily operational needs are met; sorting food in the warehouse, supporting community events, staffing our distributions and emergency
hotline, and other projects.

Physical Requirements
This role is required to work onsite every day at our 7900 Edgewater Drive facility in Oakland.Physical activities necessary in the performance of this job include ability to: Sit at a computer workstation for up to five hours at a time, move throughout the 118,000 square foot Food Bank facility in performance of duties, occasionally bend, lift and carry up to 30 lbs.; conduct facility tours in warehouse on a regular basis; communicate in clear speaking voice in person, before large groups, and over the phone; interpret instructions and questions when asked; and operate computer equipment, including typing/seeing.
COMPENSATION
This is a full-time exempt position working Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with some weekend and evening work. (7.5 hour workday, 1-hour unpaid lunch). The non-negotiable starting salary is $98,358. Scroll down for benefits information.
