Alamance United Mental Health Services is Hiring an In-Home Therapy Clinician Near Hendersonville, NC
Responsibilities:
- Provide crisis intervention and support to individuals in need
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for clients
- Deliver individual and group counseling sessions
- Utilize evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress
- Provide education and resources to clients and their families
- Participate in case conferences and team meetings
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in behavioral health or related field
- Experience working with pediatric populations preferred
- Familiarity with ICD-10 coding and documentation requirements
- Knowledge of crisis management techniques and interventions
- Ability to provide child and family counseling services
- Proficient in conducting individual and group counseling sessions
- Experience with Christian counseling principles is a plus
Skills:
- Strong crisis management skills to effectively handle emergency situations
- Knowledge of pediatric behavioral health issues and treatment approaches
- Proficiency in cognitive behavioral therapy techniques
- Familiarity with ICD-10 coding for accurate documentation and billing purposes
