Alabama State University, College of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics/Quantitative Resource Center, invites applications for the position of Mathematics Laboratory Instructor. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing laboratory tutoring services to students enrolled in mathematics and statistics courses (developmental through advanced) offered by the university. In addition, the Laboratory Instructor may assist the department with administrative and curricular assignments.Master's degree in Mathematics or Mathematics Education is required, and must be available for a flexible schedule within an 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. workday, Monday through Friday, be proficient in mathematical skills, specifically in precalculus, the calculus sequence, and statistics, have excellent communications skills, and willing to expand their knowledge to other mathematics topics.
