DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Perform basic first aid on students

* Administer scheduled and PRN inhalers and oral medications

* Recognize the signs of severe allergic reactions and be able to administer emergency anaphylactic treatment, if needed

* Establish a positive relationship with parents, students, coworkers, volunteers, and other visitors. Contact parents as appropriate.

* Learn and maintain knowledge of health documentation

* Maintain confidentiality of health information pertaining to individual students/staff

* Aid students with daily living needs as indicated

* Performs other duties as assigned by an appropriate administrator.
