PRIMARY DUTIES:
High School Program Management:
1. Assist with the integration of the ACCS Innovation Center Skills for Success training programs and career exploration initiatives into the secondary school setting across Alabama.
2. Collaborate with community colleges and secondary schools to implement training and career exploration programs.
Recruitment and Outreach: 3. Support recruiting and outreach efforts to promote ACCS Innovation Center Skills for Success training and career exploration programs among high school students.
4. Collaborate to create strategies to generate interest in short-term training and career exploration programs tailored for high school students.
5. Schedule and attend related school events, career fairs, and related outreach programs.
Program Quality and Support: 6. Assist in ensuring the availability of necessary resources for high school training and career exploration courses.
7. Regularly monitor class progress and maintain quality standards.
Relationship Building: 8. Establish and maintain relationships with high schools, community organizations, and businesses to promote training and career exploration programs.
9. Engage in community and corporate outreach to enhance program visibility and relevance.
Data Management and Reporting: 10. Collect, organize, and maintain data related to high school training and career exploration programs.
11. Prepare and submit accurate reports to the Career Readiness Manager/Workforce Director and state database as required.
Instructor Management: 12. Coordinate onboarding and training for instructors specific to high school programs, focusing on training and career exploration.
13. Provide regular guidance and feedback to instructors.
SECONDARY DUTIES: Representation and Leadership: 1. Represent the ACCS Innovation Center in task forces, committees, and regional meetings related to high school education, training, and career exploration.
2. Support engagement with community colleges for content creation and program development in training and career exploration.
Professional Conduct and Development: 3. Maintain professionalism and provide excellent customer service.
4. Participate in professional development and training activities.
Travel and Flexibility: 5. Ability to travel and work during evenings or weekends as required.
6. Perform other duties as assigned by Career Readiness Manager or Workforce Director.
