Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Business Ops Specialist to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have to experienced outlined below> Preference is given to candidates with the 'nice to have' skills/experience

Business Operations Specialist - provide detailed desk procedures as well as overall business processes to the Contract Manager as the Department transitions from the current accounting and cash management system, (FLAIR) to the implementation of a cloud-hosted, modern financial management solution, (Florida PALM).
Project Management Specialist - same duties as Business Ops Spec, with project supervisory duties.
CANDIDATE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Documenting current business processes, including face to face, phone, email or video conferencing communications
Inventory, catalog and comprehensively document all existing roles, processes and procedures involved in the operation of the departments (Accounting, Budget, Disbursements, Finance, Revenue, and Reporting functions)
Ability to draft precise and exhaustive procedures
Skills:
Ability to speak and understand English Required
Experience drafting precise and exhaustive procedures Required 2 Years
Experience with state finance/accounting Required
Diligent note taker with attention to detail Required
Communicate effectively Required
Experience using FLAIR and or PALM Highly desired

Job Types: Contract, Temporary

Pay: $24.02 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
