Job Summary:
We are seeking a customer-oriented Cashier/Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them with their purchases
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately
- Provide product information to customers
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Upsell products and promote current sales or promotions
- Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels
- Collaborate with the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a cashier or in retail sales
- Strong knowledge of retail math and ability to handle cash transactions
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Time management skills to ensure efficient service
- Experience in technical sales or appliance sales is a plus
- Ability to upsell products to increase revenue
