Airbus US Manufacturing Facility is looking for a Head of A320 Process Method & Tools to join our team based inMobile, AL

The HO A320 Process Method & Tools FAL Mobile is responsible for leading the local FAL Mobile A320 PMT Team while coordinating with stakeholders to identify key process improvement initiatives for A320 FAL up to FOT. The role will support key Ramp Up and Transformation initiatives for the Single Aisle A320 VSM by acting as focal point for the PoM Rep & Process Owner Network for FAL Mobile A320. The HO will also manage the FAL Mobile A320 process portfolio by defining & managing daily PMT activities

The individual must have a good understanding of the industrial build process, AOS structure, project methodology, and stakeholder management to be able to define & improve workflows, establish process KPIs, and analyze and derive adherence initiatives. In a complex FAL environment, this position must monitor and communicate deviations and launch recovery plans if needed.

Nearby on 'Airbus Way' you will find the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility for commercial aircraft. Opened at the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley in 2015, the facility produces A320 Family aircraft and added a second product line for the A220 in 2019. • Experienced in project management, including multifunctional teams and financial aspects

• Able to demonstrate operational experience in the implementation and optimization of systems (conception phase, implementation, maintenance of process, tools & data)

• Collaborate with A320 stakeholders & managers to negotiate SLA & process adherence targets.

Your boarding pass:

• Required: You have a minimum of 7 to 10 years of engineering/manufacturing/process roles

• Required: You have a minimum of 5 to years in process & team management roles

• Required: Team management experience is required

• Preferred: Experience in an aeronautical setting

• Preferred: Experience in team coaching & development

• Preferred: Experience in digital tools & database management

• Preferred: Experience in lean & agile methodologies.

• Required: Undergraduate degree in Engineering or other technical field and have solid knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes, production management, lean concepts, and industrialization principles / or equivalent education and experience.

• Preferred: Masters degree in business management, data management, or other related field.
