Air Ventures is Hiring a Front of House Supervisor - Harbor Grille - AM/PM - Open/Close Near Baltimore, MD

Summary/Objective

The Front of House Supervisor will play a key role in supervising the Front of House Operations in our Full-Service Restaurant. You will be expected to deliver a high-quality experience to our guests and motivate our staff to ensure excellent customer service. Supervisors will be responsible for maintaining quality and increasing profitability.

Essential Functions

  • Oversee all front of the house restaurant operations
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through promoting excellent service
  • Respond to customer complaints tactfully and professionally
  • Help ensure quality control for all food served
  • Analyze staff evaluations and feedback to improve the customer’s experience
  • Project future needs for goods, kitchen supplies, and cleaning products; order accordingly
  • Oversee health code compliance and sanitation standards
  • Look for ways to cut waste and decrease operational costs
  • Help Generate weekly, monthly, and annual reports
  • Train new employees and provide ongoing training for all staff

Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Hospitality preferred
  • Must be ServSafe certified.
  • Must hold TiPS or similar certification.
  • Significant work experience in the hospitality industry and in management
  • Front and back of house experience is a plus

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

  • Must be eligible for and maintain SIDA badge required to work in airport.
  • Must be 21 or older
  • Must maintain an applicable state health and/or alcohol compliance card.
  • Proficient in English
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
