Air General is Hiring a Manager, Business Operations Near Portsmouth, NH
- Develop and maintain a customer database of current and potential clients necessary to support the company’s business development and sales efforts
- Evaluate, develop and maintain the company's CRM platform to align with business and company goals.
- Manage and administer all marketing and/or social platforms to attract new customers, internal and external, through various promotional and advertising methods.
- Plan, develop and administer all sales and marketing print media advertising, marketing material, signage, and corporate branding standards.
- Plan and coordinate all industry events and conferences related to marketing and business development efforts.
- Assist the VP Business Development to establish quotes and proposals for current and potential customers.
- Monitor and report monthly key customer volume and revenue performance towards established financial performance targets. Integrate reporting with CRM platform metrics and analytics capabilities.
- Assist the VP Business Development with the administration of contract and customer files.
- Monitor and report all customer contract terms and status routinely.
- Evaluate and recommend contract changes, modifications, and additions.
- Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events to promote the company’s products and services.
- Manage existing customers to maintain a positive business relationship to maintain and grow business opportunities.
- Assist with other special projects as directed by Sr Leadership.
- Assist with various Operational IT initiatives including cargo handling system and automation.
- Monitor and report progress and assist in setting up project templates on certain projects as directed by Sr Leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least 5 years of experience in sales, business development, and/or operations function of a company required.
- Prior experience in Cargo Handling Operations preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in the principles and procedures of fiscal management, including resource management and needs assessment.
- Ability to set and monitor revenue goals by collaborating with the Vice President of Development and President/CEO.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
