Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team. As a Refrigeration Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration systems in commercial and industrial settings. Your expertise in appliance repair, plumbing, and property maintenance will be essential in ensuring the proper functioning of refrigeration equipment. Responsibilities: - Install, troubleshoot, and repair refrigeration systems, including walk-in coolers, freezers, and ice machines - Perform routine maintenance on refrigeration equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns - Diagnose and resolve issues with temperature control, electrical circuits, motors, compressors, and other components - Respond to service calls in a timely manner and provide efficient solutions to minimize downtime - Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts inventory - Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working with refrigerants and other hazardous materials - Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for system improvements or upgrades Requirements: - Proven experience as a Refrigeration Technician or similar role - Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems and components - Proficiency in appliance repair, plumbing, and property maintenance - Familiarity with air conditioning systems is a plus - Mechanical aptitude and ability to read technical manuals and schematics - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Ability to work independently or as part of a team Skills: - Appliance repair - Plumbing - Property maintenance - Refrigeration systems installation and repair - Van driving for service calls - Air conditioning knowledge - Mechanical aptitude - Ammonia refrigeration experience Join our team as a Refrigeration Technician and contribute to the smooth operation of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems.
