Air Comfort LLC is a leading full-service mechanical contractor, headquartered in Broadview, IL and serves the greater Chicagoland Area, including Northwest IN.

As the Director of Plumbing Services your role would be to operate and grow the Plumbing Division of Air Comfort, LLC. You will have the responsibility of overseeing all aspects of the department, including Sales, Estimating, Project Management, Talent Acquisition, Strategic Planning, and Financial Statements. The Director will need to foster the growth of the division, both internally and with external clients, through direct engagement and collaboration with the Air Comfort LLC Sales Team. Building and maintaining relationships with key industry leaders is essential to drive business opportunities and benefit Air Comfort, LLC. Additionally, the Director is responsible for forecasting and identifying when the division requires additional support. It should be acknowledged that roles and responsibilities may vary over time and may not always align precisely with the outlined expectations. Flexibility and adaptability are key to fulfilling the Director's overall responsibilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with the Air Comfort’s Executive Leadership team to develop and maintain a strategic plan with quarterly, 1-year, and 5-year goals.
• Work with Air Comfort’s Team to achieve strategic plan goals.
• Work with Air Comfort’s Executive Leadership team to develop the department budget.
• Strengthen local and regional relationships with owner clients to grow Plumbing Services Division.
• Identify strategic clients/projects to pursue.
• Attend local and regional Plumbing events and trade shows beneficial to the growth of Air Comfort, LLC.
• Prepare plumbing estimates and proposals and present them to customers.
• Assist Air Comfort’s Sales Team in estimating and preparing proposals to present to customers.
• Provide project management as required for selecting Plumbing Projects.
• Prepare and sell Plumbing Preventive Maintenance Contracts to customers.
• Work with the HR Department to interview and hire employees as the Plumbing Division grows.
• Host monthly division meetings with field personnel.
• Deliver end of year performance reviews to all Plumbing Division employees.
• Set annual goals for all Plumbing Division employees.
• Work to create synergy between other divisions.
• Manage department training requirements.
• Review field personal time sheets and hold accountable for submission.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• 10 years experience in estimating and project managing commercial and industrial plumbing projects.
• Advanced proficiency with plumbing principles, practices, process, design/build, standard of care, and the application to project work-related issues.
• Strong working knowledge of relevant plumbing laws, codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements, and the business impact upon the organization.
• Works independently and provides guidance and leadership to all division employees.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and prioritization of responsibilities.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact with employees effectively, persuasively and tactfully at all levels of the organization.
• Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by Air Comfort, LLC’s health, safety, drug/alcohol, and harassment policies.
• Strong ability to quickly adapt to change and demonstrate flexibility to a variety of schedules and hours to meet business needs.
