Provide customized instruction to business, industry, and community members. Topics may include, but are not limited to: Human Resources, Safety, Business Management and Information 2. Customize and create course outlines and class materials/presentations to meet the business needs 3. Incorporate business processes that the company requests to meet training needs at all job levels, based upon needs 4. Create a customized assessment instrument/process to conduct a pre- and post- assessment 5. Foster a learning environment that encompasses adult learning styles 6. Employ teaching strategies and technologies relevant to the industry 7. Utilize effective verbal and written communication skills 8. Establish and maintain positive and professional relationships with business leaders, staff, and employees 9. Represent Aims Community College with a genuine spirit of cooperation and flexibility 10. Must be self-directed and motivated 11. Participate in discussions and meetings with business partners and the Aims Community College coordinator to determine best practices for course customization 12. Communicate regularly with the business contact and Aims Community College coordinator regarding training issues and/or challenges 13. Submit required time-sensitive and accurate paperwork, which may include, but is not limited to: Attendance Records, Time-sheets, Mileage Reports, Curriculum and/or Assessment tools 14. Assist in developing quality relationships with business, industry, and community members Work Hours: No guarantee of immediate hours or weekly hours upon hire. Hours are on an as-needed basis Minimum Qualifications: 1. Three years related experience in subject matter Preferred Qualifications: 1. Four-year degree or relevant certification in subject matter 2. Two years instruction in subject matter 3.
