Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Certified Pharmacy Technician, we need 2yrs experience. We are looking for a pharmacy tech to come into the company with the knowledge in Long-term care environment. QS1/"PrimeCare". automation experience RX30 or Parata is a plus. Understand how to do prescriptions and ability to speak to customer about their prescriptions.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Accurately label and package medications for distribution
- Maintain inventory control and assist with medication ordering
- Enter prescription information into the pharmacy computer system
- Provide exceptional patient service by answering inquiries and resolving any medication-related issues
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Adhere to all pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards
Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and experience:
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification
- Proficiency in medical terminology and knowledge of pharmacy calculations
- Experience in critical care or acute care settings preferred
- Strong understanding of medication administration processes
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
