The Social Wellness Aide is responsible for organizing and implementing the daily activity programs. They help, encourage and are supportive to the residents who reside at Aicota Health Care Center.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift

Experience:

• Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
Examples of routine work:

• Planning and implementing daily activities
• Assisting with special events
• Decorating the facility for special events
• Posting daily and monthly activity schedules
• 1-1 visits with residents
• Sharing observations to be included in clinical records, care plans, or progress notes.
• Charting resident activity attendance
• Assisting with maintaining department paperwork and records
• Serving and hosting continental breakfast and social hour
• Assisting at mealtimes

Shift Times:
Shift times vary, starting at 6:30am and 10:30am. A weekend rotation is required for all staff.
All applicants must become CNA certified within the first six months of employment. Classes are provided and paid for by Aicota. Aicota offers tuition assistance and scholarship opportunities for all team members enrolled in qualifying courses.
