Our Middletown office is seeking an AssistantOffice Engineer to join our growing and dynamic team.

AEI's Construction Professionals take a truehands-on approach to all aspects of construction management. Frompre-construction meetings through project closeout reports, our team collaboratesclosely with owners, designers, and Design-Build teams to ensure cost controland on-time project delivery. We are looking for diverse people who share inour entrepreneurial spirit to join our Construction Services Division tosupport many on-going projects.

 Responsibilities:

·Assist Office Engineer on large scale projectwith overall project record keeping

·Read and interpret construction plans andspecifications

·Prepare daily inspection reports

·Perform quantity computations

·Maintain field records

Skills, Experience, andQualifications:

·5 years prior experience in constructioninspection in civil, highway, vertical, or relevant engineering and surveyfields

·High school diploma with considerableknowledge of construction materials, methods, and procedures

·Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineer orRelevant field preferred

·NETTCP HMA/CI/S&A and/or ACIcertification, NICET II-IV certification preferred

·Ability to commute to the project site inFairfield County CT
