Now Hiring for a 1 on 1 Direct Support Staff.

Pay : $21 / hr.

Location : Afton, MN (only 10 minutes away from Hudson!)

Hours : 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, or overnights 10pm-8am

Position Overview

A 1 : 1 DSP staff provides direct care to one client specifically in a group home setting. This client needs 24 / 7 supervision and support due to a rare seizure disability.

Despite disabilities, this individual is a joy to work with and has a great sense of humor. He enjoys activities and partaking in a day program, which staff are a part of as well.

Not only is this a very rewarding position, it's also a great opportunity for those who are interested in growing in the Health Care industry.

Training is provided!

Essential Job Duties

• Medication administration
• Assisting clients with everyday needs (socialization, activities, cooking, etc.)
• Documenting appointments, daily notes, etc.
• Transporting clients
• Other duties assigned

Requirements

• No experience required but is always welcome! Paid training will be provided.
• 18 years or older
• Must be able to pass a MN DHS background study
• Communication & computer skills
• Compassionate and caring demeanor
