Now Hiring for a 1 on 1 Direct Support Staff.

Pay: $21/hr.

Location: Afton, MN (only 10 minutes away from Hudson!)

Hours: 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, or overnights 10pm-8am

Position Overview

A 1:1 DSP staff provides direct care to one client specifically in a group home setting. This client needs 24/7 supervision and support due to a rare seizure disability. Despite disabilities, this individual is a joy to work with and has a great sense of humor. He enjoys activities and partaking in a day program, which staff are a part of as well. Not only is this a very rewarding position, it's also a great opportunity for those who are interested in growing in the Health Care industry.

Training is provided!

Essential Job Duties

- Medication administration

- Assisting clients with everyday needs (socialization, activities, cooking, etc.)

- Documenting appointments, daily notes, etc.

- Transporting clients

- Other duties assigned

Requirements

- No experience required but is always welcome! Paid training will be provided.

- 18 years or older

- Must be able to pass a MN DHS background study

- Communication & computer skills

- Compassionate and caring demeanor
