- Responsible for the management and leadership of all mechanics and technicians in the shop.
- Work closely with the sales department to ensure new and trade-in equipment is ready for display and sale.
- Reconcile employee timecards and service tickets.
- Submit warranty tickets to manufacturers as they are completed in a timely manner.
- Work closely with the parts department on orders and preorders.
- Enroll technicians and mechanics into service school trainings.
- Maintain excellent service with customers and manufacturers.
- Performs basic diagnostics and repairs on agricultural equipment and farm machinery.
- Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
- Previous lead mechanic/service manager experience in the agriculture industry.
- Previous heavy equipment and/or farm machinery mechanic or technician experience.
- Ability to work overtime and occasional weekends.
- Must have valid driver's license.
- Familiar with a wide variety of hand, power, and specialty tools.
