Position: Farm Operator/Laborer

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain various types of application equipment, including sprayers and spreaders, for the precise application of fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, and other agricultural chemicals.
• Accurately mix and prepare chemical solutions according to prescribed formulations and safety guidelines.
• Perform field applications of agricultural chemicals to client fields, ensuring even coverage and adherence to application specifications.
• Conduct thorough pre-application inspections to verify field conditions, weather, and equipment readiness.
• Calibrate application equipment to ensure precise delivery rates and minimize chemical waste.
• Monitor application processes and make real-time adjustments to equipment settings based on field conditions and chemical performance.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all applications, including chemical types, quantities used, field locations, dates, and weather conditions.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations to prevent contamination, drift, and harm to non-target species.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on application equipment to ensure optimal functionality and reduce downtime.

Are You Qualified?

• Able to work overtime and occasional weekends.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be willing and able to maintain a Class A CDL and appropriate endorsements (with our assistance).
• Must be willing to submit to a DOT drug test and background.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
