Summary
Studies and records time, motion, methods, and speed involved in performance of maintenance, production, clerical, and other worker operations to establish standard production rate and to improve efficiency and productivity by performing the following duties. Approximately 60% of the time will be spent on the production floor. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

• Analyze existing processes, systems, and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
• Collect data, conduct time studies, and utilize various analytical tools to evaluate production methods and suggest enhancements.
• Collect and analyze data related to production output, efficiency, and other performance metrics.
• Prepares charts, graphs, and diagrams to illustrate workflow, routing, floor layouts, material handling, and machine utilization.
• Analyze labor utilization and work methods to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Assist with quality standards, develop testing protocols, and conducting statistical analysis to identify areas for improvement.
• Observes and records workers operating equipment or performing tasks to determine time involved and fatigue rate.
• Recommends revision of methods of operation or material handling, alterations in equipment layout, or other changes to increase production or improve standards.
• Evaluate material usage, labor costs, equipment efficiency, and other cost factors to optimize operations and improve profitability.
• Analyze costs associated with production processes and identifying opportunities for cost reduction.
• Collaborate with engineers, managers, production staff, and other stakeholders to develop efficient and effective systems.
• Manage projects related to process improvement, system implementation, or facility layout changes.
• Develop project plans, coordinate resources, monitor progress, and ensure project objectives are achieved within established timelines.
• Implements improvements.
