The City of Jamestown, ND is accepting applications for the position of Engineering Technician I/II. This position performs routine inspection, surveying and drafting work in the field or office, as well as general daily computer operations. It is preferred that candidates have graduated from a Civil Engineering Technical Program or related two-year degree. Candidates must have considerable knowledge of basic engineering principles, practices and methods. Candidates must have working knowledge of drafting and/or surveying, including use of instruments and equipment. Candidates must have working knowledge of construction materials, principles and practices of plans and specifications and general knowledge of computer operations and its applications.
