AGILE Space Industries is Hiring an Account Executive - Sales and Operations Near Durango, CO

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Account Executive to join our team and play a pivotal role in driving growth and fostering strong client relationships within the aerospace sector. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the aerospace industry, along with proven expertise in sales, client management, and operational oversight.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the propulsion and aerospace sector.
  • Understand client needs, objectives, and challenges to effectively position company offerings and solutions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client communications, meetings, and inquiries.

Sales and Revenue Generation:

  • Identify sales opportunities within existing client accounts and develop strategies to maximize revenue.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions that meet client requirements and drive value.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure mutually beneficial agreements.

Account Planning and Strategy:

  • Develop comprehensive account plans and strategies to achieve sales targets and client objectives.
  • Align sales strategies with operational capabilities to ensure successful implementation of proposed solutions.
  • Continuously assess market trends, competitor activities, and client needs to refine account strategies.

Operational Oversight:

  • Oversee the execution of work under contract with clients, ensuring adherence to quality standards, deadlines, and contractual obligations.
  • Collaborate with division managers and direct oversight of portfolio project managers and operations personnel to address any operational challenges and optimize project deliveries.

Performance Tracking and Reporting:

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, revenue, and operational metrics.
  • Prepare regular reports to evaluate performance, track progress against goals, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on performance analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 20 years of experience in program management, business development and client management within the aerospace industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing a portfolio of programs from concept to delivery and executive client relationship
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledge of aerospace quality standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • PMP or similar certification is a plus.

Salary Range: $150,000 - $180,000 

Eligibility for bonuses and company equity depends on the type of position you hold and whether your position is full-time, part-time or temporary status. Contact HR for more information on the specific benefits offered.
