We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Full-Stack Java Developer (80% backend, 20% front-end) to join our growing team. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining critical applications using a variety of technologies. You will also be expected to provide technical leadership, to mentor junior developers, and to conduct code reviews.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement back-end services using Java with experience in layer development (e.g., data access layer, service layer).
• Utilize a NoSQL database, such as MongoDB, for efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Integrate messaging tools like RabbitMQ or similar technologies to facilitate communication between services.
• Develop user-friendly and responsive front-end applications using Angular/TypeScript (experience with other TypeScript-based frameworks a plus).
• Leverage cloud platforms (preferably Azure, but open to others) to deploy and manage applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, product managers) to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Mentor junior developers and peers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends in the software development industry.

Qualifications:

• 6 years of experience in Java development with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience with API development and design principles.
• Experience working with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or similar technologies.
• Familiarity with messaging tools like RabbitMQ or comparable solutions.
• Experience building front-end applications using Angular/TypeScript (open to other TypeScript-based frameworks).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, but open to others) for application deployment and management.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to mentor and guide junior developers.

Bonus points for:

• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
