Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Overnight Team Lead - Delivery Driver to play a crucial role in our logistics and delivery operations. This position is not just about making deliveries; it's about being a key player who works directly with leadership to guide, build, and enhance our local delivery operation. The ideal candidate will have a background in a mature delivery environment, preferably within the consumer packaged goods industry, and will be ready to bring their expertise to a growing business. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform overnight deliveries with local routes that may vary day to day based on customer orders.
• Oversee and execute overnight delivery operations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to our customers.
• Lead, manage, and schedule a team of delivery drivers, promoting a culture of excellence and efficiency.
• Collaborate with management to refine and improve delivery processes, incorporating best practices from the industry.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels in delivery vehicles, ensuring they are properly stocked and organized for efficient delivery.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing and resolving customer issues related to delivery in a timely manner.
• Train new team members on delivery routes, customer service standards, and safety protocols.
• Drive key initiatives to enhance the delivery experience for our customers, including technology adoption and route optimization.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements related to delivery and transportation.

Qualifications:

• Proven in depth experience (3 years ) in a delivery driver position within a mature, consumer packaged goods company.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with delivery route planning software and GPS devices.
• Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on resolving issues efficiently and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to work overnight shifts and adapt to a flexible schedule as needed.
• Physical ability to lift and move products up to 50 lbs.
• Self directed
