Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join our team. As a Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles. You will play a crucial role in financial planning, analysis, and reporting, providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making.
Duties:
- Manage all aspects of the company's financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting
- Perform account reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Conduct regular analysis of financial statements and provide recommendations for improvement
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Collaborate with other departments to develop budgets and forecasts
- Monitor cash flow and manage banking relationships
- Oversee the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and provide guidance on technical accounting issues
- Utilize accounting software to streamline processes and improve efficiency
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in account analysis, account reconciliation, and financial statement preparation
- Excellent financial acumen with the ability to analyze complex financial data
- Advanced skills in using accounting software and MS Excel
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
This is a full-time position offering competitive compensation based on experience.
Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.
