The Facility Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of Agape’s East Facility. This position requires a blend of practical skills, organizational ability, and interpersonal communication to effectively support the facility’s weekly activities. From routine maintenance tasks to assisting with administrative duties, the Facility Assistant is instrumental in creating a safe, functional, and pleasant environment for staff, visitors, and horses.
Position Type: Part-time hourly, approximately 20 hours a week

Maintenance Support: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as equipment checks, minor repairs, landscaping, and general upkeep of facilities to ensure safety and functionality.
Equipment Management: Assist in the maintenance and inventory management of equipment, tools, and supplies necessary for facility operations.
Facility Inspection: Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and cleanliness standards, promptly addressing any issues.
Event Setup and Support: Assist in setting up and arranging facilities for events, meetings, and gatherings, ensuring all requirements are met and spaces are prepared appropriately.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, ensuring the facility meets all health and safety standards and procedures.
Customer Service: Serve as a point of contact for facility repair issues.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to coordinate tasks, share information, and contribute to the overall success of facility operations.
