Billing Assistant
This position is an entry level position fitted for the individual that has a strong understanding of billing and coding concepts. The ability to work independently and have a strong attention to detail is necessary to support the office with billing aspects that are handled onsite.
Duties
* Reviewing Explanation of Benefits and Posting insurance payments in the billing portal
* Addressing claim rejections from clearinghouse and insurer due to errors in registration
*Reviewing AR reports for patient balances and collecting payments from patients
*Printing, faxing, sending paper claims with the direction from the provider
*Addressing calls from patients with questions regarding their bill
* Working collaboratively with our offsite billing and coder as needed
Part Time Position (Tuesdays/Thursdays) if Billing only
Full Time Position Monday-Friday if with Billing AND Front Desk OR Medical Assistance skills

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
