Cropping Manager at Diversified Farm

What you will be doing:

• Operational Excellence: Skillfully operate a range of equipment, ensuring safety and productivity. Be involved in every step of fieldwork during planting and harvest seasons, from driving trucks between farm locations to overseeing crop inspection and post-harvest treatments.
• Machinery Maintenance Expertise: Supervise a team to ensure the proper maintenance and repair of farm machinery. Your comprehensive knowledge of equipment will be pivotal in maintaining operational efficiency.
• Leadership and Team Management: Foster a vibrant company culture focused on problem-solving and continuous improvement. Lead daily operations, mentor crop personnel, and drive operational efficiency for sustained business growth.

A successful candidate for this Cropping Manager role will possess the following:

• Experience in heavy machinery and dairy operations is essential.
• Adaptability, quick decision-making skills, and a team-oriented mindset.
• Proficiency in machinery and equipment operations, including repairs and maintenance.
• Strong farming background/experience.

Compensation: Will be based on experience level, so can be flexible, but targeting a range of $80-$120K base plus further incentives.
