The Opportunity:

Receive and unload inbound freight as directed. Inspect product and ensure quality and condition of load. Utilize picking list and verify parts. Operate ScanWorkx system and utilize organization. Load semi-trailer trucks, load building components, and audit building kits and verify that they are complete. Assist in performing a detailed load inspection from a checklist to determine that the load is complete. Operate a forklift outside and inside.

Responsibilities:

• Unload semi-trailers and properly stow building components for safe and organized storage orders.
• Verify load quality and condition.
• Retrieve packing list and verify parts delivered.
• Receive completed structural components from area departments and store in the designated areas as directed.
• Properly use ScanWorkx system and utilize organization.
• Stage building components in preparation for eventual loading per instructions.
• Inventory building components after they are unloaded and check against purchase orders.
• Work closely with the Shipping Lead to determine that all building materials are checked in and accounted for and turn in paperwork promptly to the Shipping Clerk.
• Assist in other departments as needed.
• Exhibit good attendance and attitude.
• Use general math skills.
• Maintain shop as directed.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or GED required

Experience: Minimum 1 year of shipping or warehouse experience required; shag truck and forklift experience preferred
