Aftershock Geotechnical is Hiring an ICC Special Inspector Near Livermore, CA
We are a rapidly growing firm looking for an ICC Certified Special Inspector. Our work spans from the SF Bay Area, East Bay, Central Valley and Sacramento.
Qualifications
· ICC and or/ AWS certifications in Reinforced Concrete, Post Tension Concrete, Structural Steel and Welding, High Strength Bolting, Masonry, Fireproofing, and Soils
· Ability to operate a Nuclear Density Gauge as needed
· Must have a valid driver's license. Based on driving record a company truck may be provided for work use.
· Must be able to read Project Plans and use math as required
· Must be proficient with a computer or tablet including Microsoft Word and Excel
· Knowledge of the State and local building codes
· Understand building terminology and construction methods, occupational health & safety standards, inspection methods, and procedures
· Ability to lift 50 pounds
· Must be willing to travel to jobs located in the Bay Area, Central Valley and Sacramento Area
· Currently a member or willing to join the Operating Engineers Local 3 Union
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $46.81 - $54.02 per hour
