Position Overview:
We are excited to offer an opportunity for an enthusiastic Gymnastics Assistant Teacher to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year, from September 2024 to June 2025. This role comes with the potential for contract renewal based on performance. The successful candidate will support our vibrant gymnastics program and contribute to various sports clubs, playing a pivotal role in shaping young minds and bodies.

Who We're Looking For:

• Availability on weekdays between 2:00 PM and 5:30 PM.
• Holds at least an associate degree and has a minimum of two years of experience in an educational setting.
• Skilled in leading physical activities for elementary-aged students.
• Proficient in classroom and behavioral management, with strong capabilities in problem-solving and conflict resolution.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Creative in developing interactive, age-appropriate activities that engage and inspire children.
• Dedicated to personal and professional growth through ongoing training and hands-on experience.
• A collaborative team player who excels in a dynamic school environment and interacts effectively with diverse groups.
• Consistently responsive via email and committed to building lasting relationships.
• Naturally engaging, approachable, and passionate about child education.

Your Role:

• Lead a safe, organized, and stimulating learning environment.
• Create and execute weekly activity plans tailored to gymnastics and physical education.
• Foster skill development with fun, educational activities.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the program, including snack times, transitions, and dismissals.
• Apply effective classroom and behavioral management strategies.
• Contribute actively to all aspects of the program to ensure safety and promote student involvement.
• Attend meetings, training sessions, and special events as required.
• Serve as a positive, adaptable role model for our students.
• Efficiently manage program resources.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
