After School Life is Hiring a LegoTeacher for After School Program Near Bellevue, WA

Overview:

We are seeking dynamic individuals to join our team as LEGO Teachers/Educators. As a LEGO Teacher/Educator, you will have the exciting opportunity to foster creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork skills through engaging LEGO building projects in our program.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead hands-on LEGO building sessions that stimulate creativity, imagination, and critical thinking among students.
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate LEGO curriculum that aligns with educational standards and learning objectives.
  • Guide students in designing and constructing LEGO models, encouraging experimentation and innovation.
  • Facilitate collaborative LEGO challenges and competitions that promote teamwork and communication skills.
  • Integrate storytelling and thematic elements into LEGO activities to enhance learning and engagement.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged to explore, experiment, and learn through play.

Requirements:

  • Passion for LEGO education and a strong belief in its ability to inspire learning and creativity.
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting, with a focus on hands-on learning activities.
  • Knowledge of LEGO Education materials and resources is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students in LEGO building projects.
  • Creativity and adaptability to design and modify LEGO activities based on students' interests and abilities.
  • Certification in education, child development, or a related field is a plus.
