Overview:
We are seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Dance Teachers. As a Dance Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and nurture the creative expression of students through dance in our school program.

Responsibilities:

• Teach various styles of dance to students, including but not limited to ballet, jazz, contemporary, and hip-hop.
• Plan and lead dance classes that are engaging, educational, and tailored to the skill levels and interests of students.
• Provide individualized feedback and guidance to students to help them improve their technique, artistry, and performance skills.
• Collaborate with school staff to integrate dance into the overall curriculum and educational goals.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel supported, encouraged, and inspired to explore their passion for dance.

Requirements:

• Professional training and experience in dance, with proficiency in multiple styles.
• Previous experience teaching dance to students of varying ages and skill levels.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate students.
• Knowledge of dance theory, terminology, and pedagogy.
• Passion for dance education and a commitment to fostering the artistic and personal growth of students.
• Certification in dance education or a related field is a plus.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 3 per week
