Flexible scheduling available - 6-8hrs per week needed and can be set to 1 day a week or split into two days a week to fit your life. Hours can slowly be increased as we build our hygiene program!

Responsibilities:The Dental Hygienist will assist the dentist during treatment and provide care for implant maintenance, as well as assist with presenting and discussing treatment plans, among other duties listed below:
· Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination
· Sterilize dental instruments properly
· Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
· Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis
· Clean and help protect patients’ teeth (e.g. remove plaque or apply fluoride)
· Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques)
· Give instructions to patients after operations or other dental procedures
· Assist dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases (including oral cancer)
· Maintain documentation and charts on each patient
· Monitor supplies
Qualifications:To apply for this position, you must possess an active Dental Hygiene Certification . You must be able to work in a high volume, fast paced office while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude.
